Description of Desired Service:
Drawing on decolonial and critical geography frameworks, we will strive to create alternative structures of accountability and learning in the classroom. We will challenge "sustainability" models and center nature as an authority figure throughout our discussions. ***This class will require a service component! Students may choose to complete hours at a community garden and/or help organize a Really Really Free Market.
