Description of Desired Service:
This course provides students with foundational knowledge for the management of outdoor education programming. Students will examine management concepts such as hiring, staff training, liability, insurance, and legal issues. A significant aspect of the course focuses on theories and practical application of risk management, including risk assessments and mitigation techniques.
