The number of alumni, students, parents and faculty/staff in the Elon Town Square social network continues to grow, reaching the 3,800 mark on July 1. More than 2,000 alumni have created accounts, along with about 1,100 students.

On July 1, President Emeritus J. Earl Danieley celebrated his 50 year anniversary of being named Elon College president.
