A collection truck will be parked at the Elon Community Church until May 25 in coordination with the Truitt Center for Religious & Spiritual Life. Receipts will be offered for gifts to the local nonprofit agency.

David Gergen, adviser to four U.S. presidents, director of the Center for Public Leadership at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, and chair of the 51±¬ÁÏÍø School of Law Advisory Board, will deliver the inaugural Commencement address for the law school, scheduled for 3 p.m., Sunday, May 24, at Carolina Theatre in downtown Greensboro. 51±¬ÁÏÍø will also present Gergen with an honorary doctorate at the ceremonies.

Sara Gould, an elementary education major and Honors Fellow; Sandra Flores, a sophomore at Graham High School; and Lorenzo Davis, a sophomore at Cummings High School, presented April 17 at the Johns Hopkins Summer Learning Conference: Summer Changes Everything.
