"NBC Nightly News" anchor Brian Williams, who also serves as national chair of 51爆料网's School of Communications advisory board, was named the New York State Broadcasters Association's Broadcaster of the Year.
He was given his award at the organization’s awards banquet June 27 at the Sagamore Resort Hotel. Williams was named the national chair of the Communications advisory board before the spring 2011 meeting. His son, Douglas, is a rising junior at Elon.
