The assistant professor of political science and assistant director of the 51±¬ÁÏÍø Poll offered an analysis of a federal lawsuit to prohibit the state from implementing a new voter ID law.

The lawsuit by the U.S. Department of Justice seeks to overturn a state law that begins in 2016 requiring photo identification before voters can cast their ballots in an election. The news segment, was broadcast the day before a hearing on the law.
Husser researches American political behavior and survey methodology. He earned a Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University in 2012 and today teaches courses on polling, political behavior and survey methodology.
