Acappallooza Hosted by Sweet Signatures on Feb. 26

Saturday night a cappella groups from near and far will come to Elon to perform in the biggest a cappella jam of the year! This is the 9th Annual Acappallooza show hosted by Elon’s female a cappella group Sweet Signatures. The show will be in Whitley Auditorium starting at 7pm. The doors will open at 6:30. Student tickets are $5; all other tickets are $7. Cash or check to “Elon Sweet Signatures” only!

From University of Maryland – Pandemonium (coed)
From University of Georgia – The Accidentals (male)
From Duke University – Out of the Blue (female)
From Virginia Tech – Juxtaposition (male)
From James Madison University – The BlueTones (female)
From UNC Greensboro – The Spartones (male)
From UNC Greensboro – The Sapphires (female)
And of course Elon’s very own Twisted Measure, Rip_Chord and Sweet Signatures!

Sweet Signatures’ Fall Concert – Nov. 20

Sweet Signatures is the only all female acappella group here at Elon. Come out Saturday night at 7:30 to Whitley Auditorium to see what the ladies have been working on all semester. With several new songs to reveal, you’re in for a great night of music. The ladies will also be celebrating the release of their latest album “Love Affair”. Check out the CD on iTunes for a sneak peak! “Tainted Love”, the first track on the new album, not only has been selected to be a part of national acappella complilation cd, but it will be performed for the first time at the concert! So come on out!!

Sweet Signatures Midnight Meals – Sept. 16

Sweet Signatures Auditions – Sept. 10-11

Interested in being a part of Elon’s premiere female a cappella group? Come on out to auditions Friday evening, Sept. 10, OR Saturday afternoon, Sept. 11. They will be in McCrary Center of the Arts, room 165 starting at 7 p.m. Friday night and at 3 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

All you have to do is prepare a verse and chorus of a song that you think shows off your voice…and be a female, of course. Come see us at the Org. Fair this Friday afternoon for more information!

Sweet Signatures’ spring concert – April 24

Sweet Signatures, Elon’s only female a cappella group, will be showing off everything they’ve been working on this year this Saturday, April 24. With some old favorites and four new songs, it is sure to be a great show! Doors will open to Whitley Auditorium at 7:00 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30. General admission tickets will be $7 and student tickets will be $5, which you can buy at the door. So come on out for a great night of a cappella!

Sweet Signatures’ annual Acappallooza – Oct. 3

Sweet Signatures will host Acappallooza on Oct. 3. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. in Whitley Auditorium. Acappallooza is a unique show in which several different a cappella groups all come together, not to compete, but to perform great music and have a good time.

Student tickets: $5
Adult tickets: $7

In addition to Elon’s own Sweet Signatures (us), Rip_Chord, and Twisted Meause, we will be hosting:

UNC-Greensboro’s all male group, Spartones

UNC-Greensboro’s all female group, Sapphires

UNC-Wilmington’s all male group, High Seas

UNC-Chapel Hill’s all male group, Achordants

University of Maryland’s co-ed group, PandemoniUM

It’s a great line up and is going to be a great night for a cappella music!
