You will take a limo ride from the Faculty/Staff Health & Wellness Clinic parking lot in groups of eight and return as soon as possible to campus.You qualify for this program if you have not had a mammogram within a calendar year. 

Mammograms are covered under Elon’s Blue Cross & Blue Shield Health insurance so there is no charge. Most other insurances also cover screening mammograms at 100 percent.You will be notified for an appointment time after registering. Paperwork will be sent through campus mail and must be completed by April 10th and returned to Belinda Day. If you have any questions please call ext. 5569.

The American Cancer Society recommends yearly prostate cancer exams for all men age 50 and older and African-American men age 45 and older.
It’s a test that could save your life. One in six American men will develop prostate cancer during their lifetime. Prostate cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death in men. Yet when detected early, it is highly treatable.

Alamance Regional is offering free prostate cancer screenings that include a PSA blood test and physical exam. Participating physicians are from Burlington Urological
Associates and Imprimis Urology.

  • This is a fun way to get your mammogram done and take a Limo ride with your friends.
  • You will leave the Moseley Center parking lot in groups of eight and return within 1 hour.
  • This year’s program requires at least 24 ladies to ride in the Limo.
  • You qualify for this program if you have not had a mammogram within a year of March 7, 2010.
  • Mammograms are covered under Elon’s health insurance (Blue Cross Blue Shield) so there is no charge.
  • Call Belinda at ext. 5569 to sign up and schedule a time for your mammogram.
  • Paperwork will be sent through campus mail and must be completed and returned to the Wellness Center at CB 2080 by Feb.17.

Fibro Care brings together those suffering with fibromyalgia to improve their quality of life through education and support. We plan to share stories, complimentary therapies for healing & wellness, promote understanding & hope, provide resource experts, group discussions with a focus on nutrition, exercise, and stress management for healthy living. Anyone interested is welcome to attend. The first meeting will be September 10th and will continue to meet on the second Monday of each month from 7:00pm-8:30pm at 51±¬ÁÏÍø 216 N.
