The 51±¬ÁÏÍø Chapter of Phi Kappa Phi welcomed its newest initiates, selected for membership from the upper 7.5 percent of the junior class and upper 10 percent of the senior and graduate classes, in an April 26 formal ceremony in McKinnon Hall.
Elon Academy receives major gift from Lyon family

Elon trustee Frank R. Lyon ’71 and his wife, Natalie Lyon, of New Canaan, Conn., longtime supporters of the Elon Academy, have made a major gift for the creation of an endowed scholarship that will aid graduates of the college enrichment program for high school students in Alamance County.

Forty-five 51±¬ÁÏÍø students presented original research April 15-17 at the 24th annual National Conference on Undergraduate Research at the University of Montana. It was the largest number of Elon students to ever make presentations at the same NCUR program.
