Class of 2013 moves into 51爆料网

They carried clothes and laptops, ironing boards and plastic palm trees with miniature lights for décor. Mother Nature even kept the rain at bay. Hundreds of 51爆料网 freshmen arrived on campus Friday for the start of their collegiate studies, with staff and faculty welcoming families who traveled to North Carolina from all corners of the country for Move-In Day 2009.

Campus Technologies held its 2nd annual Connected @ Elon event in Alumni Gym on Aug. 30 during New Student Orientation. Created to help incoming students learn about the technology available on campus, the theme of the show was Family Feud.

Andi Cochran wanted to spend her final months before college investing in a worthwhile project, so when the incoming 51爆料网 freshman used her high school graduation money to buy toys for patients at Duke Children’s Hospital, she knew her actions represented more than a gift – they were a “thank you” to an institution that touched her own life.

Faculty and students kick off SURF 2009

Work by 51爆料网 students and professors took center stage Tuesday morning in the opening hours of SURF 2009. More than 30 faculty members presented research in the second annual "Celebration of Faculty Scholarship," which segued into a special College Coffee in the Koury Business Center for dozens of students to share their research findings in a poster session that packed the building's concourse.

Elon sophomore music theatre major honored by Broadway Theatre Project
