The person or persons hired for this project will perform some of the following tasks:
– Write and publish our quarterly newsletter, “Student Support Newsletter;”
– Participate on event planning teams and work on event implementation (e.g. community training programs, fundraising events, etc.);
– Prepare other written materials related to project activities (e.g. brochures, press releases, etc.)
– Create videos for trainings provided by Safe Schools/Healthy Students staff;
– Work on planning teams for new grants and projects;
– Plan and coordinate student contests;
– Work on special projects (like a parent prevention guide with local media and partners);
– Maintain project Web site(s);
– Write copy for radio/TV PSA’s;
– Work with the communications subcommittee on the annual review of the communications plan and revise as appropriate.

Qualifications:
– Good time-management skills and the ability to multi-task
– Strong written and verbal skills
– Self-starter and independent worker
– Digital photography experience preferred
– Web page design and content maintenance skills preferred
– Strong computer skills (Microsoft office products, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, etc.)
– Creativity

Compensation: Unpaid.
Hours: We need someone for: Summer & Fall 2007. Hours will vary between 10+ hours each week and depending on students’ schedule.

The Director of Student Services needs staff support to create marketing materials and collect/analyze student related data.

The person or persons hired for this project will perform some or all of the following tasks:
– Participate on event planning teams and work on event implementation (e.g. community training programs, fundraising events, etc.)
– Prepare other written materials related to project activities (e.g. brochures, press releases, etc.)
– Work with Student Support Staff to collect data on reflecting student contact;
– Assist with training and technical support for staff collecting data.
