Join in on an interactive tour through the Greek Courts in an eye-opening experience that touches on various forms of oppression existing in society. Tours will begin at 6 p.m. in Loy Center (Greek Courts) and refreshments will also be served.

It will be much bigger and better this year with participation from SPARKS, Black Cultural Society, Alpha Chi Omega and Affinity!

(Diversity Emerging Education Program) for a Difficult Dialogues discussion about the unique coexisting of three of the world’s major religions – Islam, Judaism, and Christianity – in the city of Jerusalem.

We will screen a documentary made by Duke students and their Interfaith center’s trip to Jerusalem and discuss the issues raised by their cohabitation.

Come meet the film makers, get a free DVD, and try for the giveaways!

Come try our obstacle course through some of Elon’s most used buildings, but things are quite as easy as they may seem. Are you up for the challenge?

Thursday (10.08.09): “Difficult Dialogues: Comparing Experiences” Co-Sponsored with the Black Cultural Society
6:30 p.m. LaRose Digital Theatre
We are co-sponsoring a panel discussion with audience questions about the experience of minority students attending a predominantly white institution and those attending a historically black college or university. We will have representatives from five different schools! All students are encouraged to attend

Friday (10.09.09): “Org Kickball” 
6 p.m. KOBC Field
We want to invite the organizations we want to work with closely throughout the year to a sort of get to know you game of old fashioned kickball! What better way to start off a working relationship? Please bring as many members to the game which is being held in the field behind KOBC at 6 pm. Please talk to your liaison with any questions.
