Sexversations is a sexy, entertaining and powerful educational tool that’s all about inspiring straight talk and clever discussions about sex, intimacy, relationships, safety, sexuality, and questions to open your mind and challenge your conscience.

The event takes place April 22 at 7 p.m. in Lindner 102.

Come join SPARKS and Kelly and Becca from Sexversations in this fun cultural event!

SPARKS is now hiring new Peer Educators!

Application and recommendation forms are up on the Web site now. Click the link to the right for the forms. Be sure to ask for your recommendations early to allow faculty/staff enough time to complete the forms. Applications will be due to the Substance Education Office, Koury 154, on March 15.

Self Defense for Women – Feb. 19

There will be a Self Defense class for women only at Lighthouse on Friday, Feb. 19, from 1-4 p.m. This class will be conducted by Beth Seigler and Kathy Hopwood, two experienced professionals with more than 35 years of experience! The class is a great opportunity to learn useful safety skills! Everyone who attends will also get a free Consent is Sexy t-shirt!!

Winter Term Warriors on campus

Winter Term Warrior rewards YOU for having fun during Winter Term!

Go to the Web site via the link to the right, print the calendar and bring it to any of the events listed. Anytime you go to the events that are listed on the calendar, find a SPARKS Peer Educator in a Blackout Elon T-shirt and have them sign off on the calendar. The more events you go to, the better chance you have to win the fabulous prizes.

On Jan. 26 at 8 p.m. SPARKS will be having a Winter Term Warrior pizza party for everyone that participated and went to at least one event. This is also an opportunity to hand in your score card calendar and the winners will be announced. The student with the most points will win a dinner and movie night for themselves and four other friends. Five students with the next highest scores will win a $100 gift certificate to Barnes & Noble. Students who went to half of the events get a free Blackout Elon T-shirt.

The Polar Bear Plunge is included on the calendar.
