Ballroom Club Dance Artistika outing Saturday, Dec. 8

Stressed out with exams? Need a break from it all?

As our last Ballroom event of the semester, Club Dance will be going to
Artistika this Saturday – a Latin Night Club in Greensboro! It’s after
the first 2 days of exams, but there aren’t any on Sunday, so it’s the
perfect way to unwind!

We will be meeting in the Center for the Arts Parking Lot (behind Koury Center) at 9:30 pm. Drivers needed, so if you have a car, please bring it!
It is a club, so dress nice and no tennis shoes.

Ballroom Club Dance attending gay prom on Nov. 30

Club Dance will not be having a regular meeting this Friday. We will instead be attending the Gay Prom from 9 p.m. to midnight in the Oaks Commons, room 212! Kris Hazard will be teaching a lesson and there will be plenty of dancing – so come out and join us! and don’t forget to bring your friends!

Dress is from casual to all-out “High School Prom” style

For our last Ballroom Event of the semester, we will be going to Cafe Artistika – a Latin night club in Greensboro on Saturday, Dec.
8. No one will have exams the next day because it’s Sunday, so use it as a way to unwind and de-stress a bit! Drivers will be needed. Look for more announcements later!

Ballroom Club Dance Cancelled – Senior Prom on Nov. 16

Ballroom Club Dance will NOT be meeting as usual this Friday – we will instead be attending the Senior Citizens Prom at Blakey Hall.

The dance starts at 7 p.m., and we will be teaching some dances to the residents, providing music, and
just dancing and having a good time!

Anyone who would like to can come along and help out – this will count for volunteer hours, too!

We will be meeting in the parking lot next to the Center for the Arts at 6:30 to carpool to Blakey Hall – bring a car if you can, and if you want to come later, the directions are:

Go W. Haggard Ave toward N. Holt Ave.
Turn Right onto Manning Ave.
Turn Right at Blakey Hall sign
Stay left to go toward main building

On Friday, Nov. 9, Club Dance will be having a regular meeting from 8-10pm in the Center for the Arts Dance Studios.

Kris Hazard will be back from Cabaret and teaching! There will be a 1 hour dance lesson followed by a 1 hour dance party – So make sure to come out and bring all of your friends!

No experience required – New people always welcome!

Club Dance will be meeting in the Center of the Arts Dance Studios from 8-10 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 2.

There will be a one hour dance lesson taught by Carly Altizer and Megan Cunningham followed by a one hour dance party!

Costume Party Friday, October 26th from 8-10 pm in the Center for the Arts Dance Studios.

No experience necessary. There will be lessons and a Dance Party including Contests for Most Creative, Scariest, and Most Disturbing – so feel free to get creative with your Costume ideas.

Club Dance – Elon’s Ballroom Dancing Club will be having our regular meeting this Friday in McKinnon Hall from 8-10!

We normally meet in the Center for the Arts Dance Studios, but since
those are being used this weekend, we’re having a change of location.

New people welcome! We will be having an hour dance lesson followed by an hour dance party – so you don’t have to have any prior dance experience to come.

Make sure to invite all of your friends!
