Our office supports more than 53 national and international fellowship programs. Come learn about all we have to offer from 4:15-5:00 PM on Thursday, March 13 in Lindner 106. All students welcome.

Fulbright Summer Institutes Applications Open

Fulbright Summer Institutes offer first-years and sophomores a chance to take classes in nine carefully designed summer programs in the UK, inlcuding London, Scotland, Ireland, and more. Interested students should have a 3.5 GPA or higher (no exceptions), strong leadership experience in high school and/or at Elon, and should NOT have significant travel experience abroad, especially in the United Kingdom. Financial support for study abroad – Boren Scholarships and fellowships information session

A representative from the Boren Awards will be on campus this Wednesday, Nov. 13, from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. in Belk Pavilion 200. He will be presenting information on awards that provide generous funding for students who want to study critical-need languages abroad in non-Western European countries. If you have any interest in language-based study abroad, either as an undergraduate or potentially as a graduate student, please come learn more!

The Office of National and International Fellowships will be holding drop-in hours this Friday, February 8, from 2:00-4:00 PM in Lindner 200.

We help students find and apply for over 50 competitive fellowships, including the Rhodes, Fulbright, and Marshall. There are opportunities for students of all majors and all years.

Come by on Friday to learn more. We also do individual appointments by request.

If so, Fulbright may be for you! Fulbright U.S. Student grants send students to over 155 countries to conduct research, teach English, or pursue a master’s degree abroad for one year.

Fulbright Summer Institutes send first- and second-year students to the U.K. to study and explore for up to six weeks.

Interested? Come Feb. 5 at 4:15 p.m. to Lindner 208 to learn more. A representative from the Institute of International Education, Lee Rivers, will be on campus for one day only to share information and answer questions. All students welcome. It’s never too early to begin thinking about Fulbright!

Fulbright/Elon alum to Speak – Oct. 4

On Thursday, Oct. 4, Elon alumna and recent Fulbright English Teaching Assistant (Taiwan) Brittany Carroll will be on campus. From 3-4 p.m., she will be in Lindner 200 to answer questions and speak one-on-one with students. From 4-4:45 p.m., she will be speaking about her experiences in Lindner 106. Come for part or all of the afternoon!
