Handmade Mentoring Program Interest Meetings – Feb. 12 & 26

The Handmade Mentoring Program is looking for new mentors to join us at Cummings H.S. This program works with one of the school’s after-school clubs to develop student’s personal and professional skills. Handmade for the Holidays – Nov. 21

Join the Handmade Co-Op for our sixth showcase on Thursday, Nov. 21 from 4:30-7:30 p.m. in the conference center of the Moseley Student Center. We will be displaying and selling art work of all sorts including both students/faculty/staff and community members. There will be lots to buy including pottery, cards, jewlry, soaps, drawings, hats and scarves, Elon-themed items, and much more. This is a great opportunity to do some early holiday shopping and support local artisits!

Service-Learning Community’s Spring Clothing & Accessory Swap – March 4

The Service Learning Community is hosting a Spring Swap on Sunday, March 4, from 12-5 p.m. The clothing and accessory swap will take place in Oaks 212.

Please bring any clothing (please wash them prior to) or accessories that you want to exchange to the event. In return for bringing items, you can take anything you want back with you. Any leftover items will be donated!

Vocalizing Modern Sex Slavery – April 13

Join us for evening event raising awareness of the current modern sex slavery problems developing throughout the world. The Service Learning Community is learning about sex trafficking from a guest speaker, documentary clips, and a question-and-answer session. Sex slavery is a growing problem, and we must take action against it.
