Taught by Associate Professor Rich Landesberg, “The Trail Starts Here: The Iowa Caucuses” class allows students to engage with presidential hopefuls, interview voters, and offer real-time reporting of political events and topics.

The School of Communications professor analyzed the factors that are helping or hindering the voting intention and behavior of Costa Ricans who live abroad in the newly granted external voting process.

The team of Mike Garland ’15 G’16 and Tyler Parrott ’15 G’16 prevailed against student groups from more than 20 universities. 

Ciara' Dixon ’16 and Simone Jackson ’16 have been named to the AAF's Most Promising Multicultural Students program, a highly selective annual award for college students with exceptional academic and professional achievements.

During 51±¬ÁÏÍø’s Thanksgiving break, members of the baseball team traveled to the Dominican Republic to study the Caribbean nation’s culture, economy and affinity for baseball as part of the “Globalization in Contemporary Sport” class.

51±¬ÁÏÍø staff member Ryan Witt and senior Brian Szymanski partnered to produce an entry for the fan-made commercial contest and their submission was named a semifinalist for the competition’s $1 million grand prize.
