Join the Elon Brass Quintet on Saturday, April 22, at 7:30 pm in the Yeager Recital Hall for our 3rd Annual Brass Gala: An Evening Concert of Brass Quintet Favorites! 

The Elon Brass will perform traditional folk songs as well as works by Frackenpohl, Lennon/McCartney, Holst, Maurer, and Bernstein. We will also feature four original arrangements by students and quintet members Rachel Hopkins and Tyler Kless. The concert is free and open to the public.

Elon is offering trumpet lessons for both music majors and nonmajors. Lessons are taught by Professor Wayne Bennett and are offered for either one credit hour or two credit hours.

Lessons for applied trumpet meet once per week; the course numbers are MUS 123A (30-minute lessons) and MUS 123B (60-minute lessons).

Music majors and non-majors can also register for Brass Quintet/Chamber Brass (course number MUS 106C), which meets once per week to rehearse. The Brass Quintet performs in public at least once per semester.
