Faith Rivers James, Elon Law’s associate dean for experiential learning and leadership, and professor of law, presented on Elon Law’s pioneering leadership program this week in Georgia, at both a scholar/practitioner workshop and a national conference.

The professor of music had two articles published in a professional saxophone journal.

During the annual NCAAHPERD-SM Convention, sport and event management majors Taylor Barclay ’15 and Kelly Siewers ’17 received undergraduate scholarships, Sophie Kane ’17 captured first place in the video resume competition, and a team of five students competed in a case challenge provided by the Atlantic Coast Conference.

A contingent from the Department of Sport and Event Management shared research on a variety of topics, including outdoor educational initiatives, first-year experience, facility management, and student leadership in collegiate recreation.

At the SECAC conference in Pittsburgh, the art historian offered a glimpse into the previously overlooked artist's studio and its celebrated salon events.
