Samantha DiRosa's video art piece premieres at UNCG

A video art work of appropriated Meg Ryan romantic comedy film moments, commissioned by saxophonist Steven Stusek and composer Wei Dai, will premiere at a UNCG concert on April 15, 2014, at 7:30 p.m. in the School of Music's recital hall.

Elon Physics alumna publishes first-authored paper in top magnetics journal

Physics major Alison Deatsch ’13 is the first author of a manuscript on magnetic hyperthermia therapeutics published this March in the Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials.  The work, coauthored with Assistant Professor of Physics Ben Evans, describes physical mechanisms behind the remote heating of magnetic nanoparticles.
