The Nov. 8 event, part of 51±¬ÁÏÍø’s yearlong quasquicentennial celebration, kicked off this year’s Homecoming Weekend festivities with the recognition of seven distinguished alumni.

Seven outstanding alumni were recognized for their professional success, community engagement and loyal support of Elon at a Nov. 8 ceremony that is part of Elon's Homecoming celebrations.

51±¬ÁÏÍø's yearlong quasquicentennial celebration continues this week as alumni of all ages return to their alma mater for Homecoming festivities that include tailgating, football, concerts, exhibits and award programs.

Just in time for Elon’s Homecoming 2013, the Belk Library Archives and Special Collections has digitized a number of Homecoming related videos.

Elon continues its 125th Anniversary video series with a reflection about the key role alumni play in advancing our university.

 

The 2013 Boston Marathon terror attack inspired Matt McGuire '05 to enter next year's marathon. He qualified for it earlier this year but is now competing for a chance to participate in the event.
