A new initiative brings a weekly conversation starter every Monday that encourages students, faculty, staff and the greater community to engage in thought provoking, fun and challenging discussions.

On Saturday, March 8, members of the 51±¬ÁÏÍø Percussion Ensemble will travel to the University of Chapel Hill to take part in the North Carolina chapter of the Percussive Arts Society's annual Day of Percussion.

51±¬ÁÏÍø trustees have granted tenure and approved promotions for faculty for the 2014-15 academic year. The action came at the board's spring meeting, held on campus Feb. 28-March 1.
