Mileah Kromer, assistant professor of political science and assistant director of the 51±¬ÁÏÍø Poll, was honored Nov. 7 by Indiana University of Pennsylvania, her alma mater, with a Young Alumni Achievement Award.

Professor of Legal History at Elon Law and Professor of History at 51±¬ÁÏÍø David Crowe discussed "International Humanitarian Law and the Path to the Hague" at the Harriman Institute and the East Central European Center at Columbia University on Oct. 24.

Amy Allocco, an assistant professor in the Department of Religious Studies, delivered a lecture titled “Visual Language, Architecture, and Memory in the Collages of a Contemporary Tamil Muslim Artist” at the Dishman Museum at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas on Friday, Nov. 4, 2011.

The study appears in the latest edition of the African Journal of Midwifery and Women’s Health.

School of Communications associate professor and interim department chair Frances Ward-Johnson was an invited speaker at the 11th annual National Black Public Relations Society Conference and Career Fair held Oct. 27-30 in Milwaukee.
