A national search will be launched this fall for a successor to the longest-tenured top administrator among 51������’s six academic divisions. 

A contingent of faculty and staff leaders within the “Living and Learning at Elon” initiative attended the Residential College Symposium at Virginia Tech.

Professor Crista Arangala from the Department of Mathematics & Statistics will oversee a new program designed to teach data competency through campus centers and academic programs that support student learning and faculty development. 

"Ignite: A Decolonial Approach to Higher Education Through Space, Place and Culture," edited by Laura M. Pipe and Jennifer T. Stephens, was published by Vernon Press as part of its Series in Education.

More than 60 new students began their Elon journeys on Sunday, as New Student Programs welcomed them to campus during Spring New Student Convocation and New Student Orientation.

Published in June by the Association of College & Research Libraries, “The Engaged Library: High-Impact Educational Practices in Academic Libraries” features contributions from several Elon librarians and teaching faculty.

The North Carolina Local News Workshop, housed at Elon’s School of Communications, will champion new approaches to providing reliable, high-quality journalism and information for NC residents and offer a base of support for organizations and individuals working to reinvent and sustain local news.
