Two 51±¬ÁÏÍø students studying to be teachers and a School of Education staff member converted a newspaper stand to offer campus visitors a selection of books available for borrowing and return at no cost.

A May 12 banquet in Alumni Gym recognized some of this year's top performers and student leaders on 51±¬ÁÏÍø's varsity sports teams.

Organizers of a springtime dance marathon presented a check on May 13 to Duke Children’s Hospital & Health Center, the nonprofit beneficiary of 51±¬ÁÏÍø's largest annual student-led fundraising event.

The Office of the Provost and the Division of Student Life have created a $10,000 award for rising juniors to research community problems and then propose solutions to those challenges.

An effort to showcase both the university's Community Garden and heirloom plants grown by Elon students proved popular, as did delicious strawberry treats.

The final Friday of classes this spring features an opportunity for members of the campus community to enjoy strawberry shortcake, ice cream and other light refreshments at the Elon Community Garden.

The Sales Education Foundation has honored the sales program in the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business, a distinction that helps attract national  companies to campus to recruit 51±¬ÁÏÍø students into prime sales jobs.

The Pendulum and junior Al Drago have been named Mark of Excellence national winners by the Society of Professional Journalists.

Through the Kernodle Center for Service Learning and Community Engagement, dozens of students, faculty and staff spent a week away from campus this semester exploring social issues, immersing themselves in local and global communities, and participating in service.
