Alumni, parents and friends of Elon are invited to come together for an Evening for Elon in Dallas, Texas. Connect with fellow members of the Elon community and hear a few highlights from campus.

The event will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 10, at Fearing’s Restaurant. A reception including a hosted bar and hors d’oeuvres will begin at 6:30 p.m., with remarks by President Connie Ledoux Book.

Dallas alumni come together for the Kentucky Derby

On May 4, a group of Elon alumni in Dallas spent the day at Lone Star Park to socialize and view the exciting Kentucky Derby. This event was an excellent opportunity for alumni to network in a fun, casual setting before the business of the summer season begins.

"What a fantastic day out at Lone Star Park with our Dallas Alums," said Chapter President Jordan Joshua '14. "Thanks to all who came out to experience live horse races, bright attires and the electric atmosphere on Kentucky Derby Day. We hope to make this an annual tradition."

The 2018 Welcome to the City Event Series Continues through October

Beginning August 16, Elon‘s 38 alumni chapters have hosted Welcome to the City events to help introduce the Class of 2018 and recently relocated alumni to their local Elon networks. Alumni chapters in five cities kicked off the event series in mid-August with many more events to come throughout the month of September.

Alumni of all generations are encouraged to attend as we kick off a new year of chapter events. Family, friends and guests are welcome to join. Free food and Elon gear will be available at all events. This is an opportunity to connect with other local Elon graduates and hear from chapter leaders about what is in store for the upcoming year.

Dallas alumni cheer on the Mavericks

The Dallas Alumni Chapter hosted their first Dallas Mavericks outing for the local alumni community on Saturday, Dec. 2. Prior to the game, more than twenty two alumni and guests gathered at a popular rooftop spot in town called Happiest Hour, where they took this group photo.

For some, this was their first Elon alumni event, while others continue to experience a positive connection with the Elon network through these Dallas Alumni Chapter events. In fact, they witnessed a victory by their home team, as well.

The chapter's board members, especially Patrick Dillon '92 and Elise Lake '12, did a terrific job coordinating this fun event and continue to lead the Elon community for the local alumni to have positive experiences together.

Dallas National Networking Event – Jan. 29

This month, we are bringing our 3rd annual National Networking Event Series to our alumni in more than 30 cities across the country.
