Congratulations to Amber Race, Elon PA-S 2 who received a scholarship from the North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants (NCAPA).

The affirmation from the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education comes with a "clean report" and a commendation for the program's self-study report.

The American Society of Biomechanics held the first National Biomechanics Day at universities and resaerch facilities across the country.  The Departments of Physical Therapy and Exercise Science invited local high school students to participate in demonstrations and a tour at the Gerald L. Francis Center on April 13.

The award provides students with $10,000 to research and understand problems of interest to them and then use their leadership abilities to test potential solutions.
