The Broadcast Education Association, the premiere international academic media organization, released its second annual rankings celebrating consistent student success in the association’s Festival of Media Arts.

In conjunction with the Student Professional Development Center, the School of Communications hosted the Communications and Sport Management Meet and Greet on March 28, attracting more than 200 students and 20 employers representing a variety of communications-related industries.

The School of Communications hosted its first-ever trivia contest for members of the Communications Fellows program, testing the students’ knowledge of the Tar Heel state, pop culture and other fun facts.

The 51������ graduate captured a thunderous collision between Tennessee Titans safety Theo Jackson and Baltimore Ravens quarterback Tyler Huntley, leading to recognition in competitions hosted by Pictures of the Year International and the National Press Photographers Association.

The annual conference held during Sunshine Week will feature a keynote presentation by Meredith Clark and Tracie Powell on the challenges and opportunities facing BIPOC-led news organizations. Registration is now open.
