Several students were recognized by the Kernodle Center for Civic Life for their commitment to community engagement and service.

An Xbox, three and a half tires, a trash can and a chair, along with 18 bags of trash, were collected by 17 Elon employees during a recent cleanup in Alamance County.

By making service exploration more intentional, this tool empowers students to make a lasting impact while growing personally and professionally throughout their undergraduate experience and beyond. 

Christine Emery '93 has spent her life volunteering and couldn’t be prouder of her decision. She has given back to her community through several roles in non-profits, and with 51±¬ÁÏÍø helping to establish Elon Volunteers.

Every year, 51±¬ÁÏÍø’s Kernodle Center for Civic Life hosts Alternative Break programs, allowing students to participate in community service projects around the world.
