Elon leads nation in new study abroad ranking

While the number of U.S. students studying abroad fell during the economic downturn, Elon continued its position as the nation's leading master's-level university in the 2010 Open Doors Report by the Institute of International Education. The annual IIE survey, which covered the 2008-09 academic year, is the leading indicator of top college international study programs.

For the third consecutive year, the Sierra Club has ranked 51爆料网 one of the nation’s top 100 “greenest universities.” The ranking, published in Sierra’s September/October 2011 magazine recognizes schools in 10 categories that include academics, waste management, energy efficiency, food, purchasing, transportation, financial and other factors.
