On Wednesday, April 9, local high school students and faculty from the Career and Technical Education Center (CTEC) visited the Francis Center on 51������’s campus to learn more about biomechanics through engaging activities.

Graduate students in 51������'s physical therapy program secured a grant from the North Carolina chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association to help support their vision for the new initiative.

As the latest recipient of the Northwestern University Sports Division 1 Fellowship, Zac Ormond G’23 will benefit from “a training ground and model for the specialized practice of sports physical therapy at the division I collegiate athletics level in the 21st century.”

The associate professor and alum of Elon’s Department of Physical Therapy Education received the award at the 2025 American Physical Therapy Association Combined Meeting.

The Department of Physical Therapy Education once again made its presence felt at the prestigious American Physical Therapy Association’s Combined Sections Meeting in February 2025 in Houston with 12 presentations.
