Campus Compact has named Fiona Zahm '20 a recipient of a Newman Civic Fellowship, which recognizes and supports community-oriented students and is named for Frank Newman, a founder of Campus Compact.

Thirty-eight candidates in the Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies program received degrees Saturday in a Whitley Auditorium ceremony featuring remarks from Dr. Andrew Lamb, vice president of medical affairs for Cone Health Alamance Regional Medical Center and medical director for the 51±¬ÁÏÍø Physician Assistant Studies program.

Among medium-sized colleges and universities, Elon ranked No. 16 for the number of Peace Corps volunteers it produced in 2017. Last year, Elon Law launched a new fellows program to help returned Peace Corps volunteers become lawyers. 

The $34,000 grant is from the Colonial Academic Alliance, which seeks to link the colleges and universities that make up the Colonial Athletic Association.
