Membership Intake is the backbone of continuity for NPHC and MGC chapters. Different from the Interfraternity Council and Panhellenic Association, there is no formal recruitment period for NPHC and MGC. Recruitment tactics and initiation procedures for new members are unique to each NPHC and MGC organization.
Traditionally, each chapter hosts educational programming throughout the semester and offers ample opportunity to meet and connect with members before making the personal decision to join. Each respective organization conducts a covert process until the 鈥渃oming out鈥 of their new members which is open to the public.
To pursue membership in a particular NPHC or MGC organization, please contact the chapter president or other student leader in that organization for more information. Exploring options? Contact Dr. Sam Lopez, Associate Director of Student Involvement, at slopez12@elon.edu 辞谤听336-278-7214.
