Why Elon Law? I chose Elon Law because the school provides so many amazing opportunities for students to explore different areas of law, meet new people, and discover their passions. The genuine commitment of Elon’s faculty and staff to developing lawyers who are both skilled advocates and compassionate leaders is what truly set the school apart. The experiential learning curriculum is also unique to Elon, giving students the opportunity to gain meaningful, hands-on experience through externships and opportunities to be strong advocates that prepare them to enter the legal profession with confidence.

Why Elon Law? From the first Open House I attended in March 2024, I sensed the people behind Elon Law’s program were sincerely invested in helping me become the best lawyer I could be. I wasn’t wrong. The professors are approachable and enthusiastic inside the classroom and out. The student culture is collaborative, not cutthroat. The focus on experiential learning starts from day one. My first-year oral argument was in front of a sitting North Carolina Supreme Court Justice! And in a few weeks, I will be prosecuting a case, interrogating witnesses, and making objections in an actual courtroom as the final exam for another class.
