Advancing research through collaboration

The HealthEU initiative strives to support faculty and staff research that advances health and well-being in higher education. Through funding opportunities and research support, the HealthEU initiative helps scholars explore innovative ideas, share their findings and pursue external funding that expands the impact of their work through pilot research grants, supporting conference presentations and assisting in grant writing for faculty and staff applying for external funding.

Pilot Research Grants

Support interdisciplinary research projects that advance health and well-being in higher education.

Who is eligible?

  • Full-time Elon faculty and staff
  • Employed at Elon for at least 12 months
  • Have not served on the HealthEU Council within the previous 12 months

Funding

Up to $2,000 per project

Conference Presentation Support

Receive funding for conference registration fees when presenting research related to the HealthEU initiatives at local, national or international conferences.

Requirements

Funding must be approved by the Director of HealthEU Initiatives before proposal submission.

External Grant Support

Planning to pursue external funding? The HealthEU initiative provides guidance and support for faculty and staff preparing grant proposals focused on health and well-being in higher education.
